Bibliothèque de l'Académie nationale de medecine
Founded in 1820, the Academy holds, through its library, a collection of rare and ancient books, including more than a hundred of medical incunabula. The library also holds very important archival collections from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. In addition, the library keeps paintings, sculptures and medals from the academic life throughout the 19th and the 20th centuries. It also has a iconographic collection whose digitalized views can be seen in the image bank of the Bibliothèque interuniversitaire de Santé of Paris.
We respond to reference inquires and provide copies in the case of Interlibrary Loan requests.
